In my effort to create a t-shirt that would feature a vintage-style design, I was fortunate enough to meet a talented local artist by the name of Tristan Powell ( @tristanpowellart ). Having gone back and forth with several other very talented artists, it became evident to me just how important a factor individual artistic style can be. Luckily, in Tristan, I was able to find an artist who could execute what I had in mind while imparting a unique but parallel influence. The "World Weightlifting Championship" T, a souvenir apparel reproduction, is the first in an aniticipated series of vintage shirts rooted in the history of physical culture. Check it out HERE
Premium Ts designed by yours truly! Soft, true to size and comfortable; these shirts fit and feel awesome. Despite having my heart set on a 100% American made T, I was unable to find one with the correct combination of fit, comfort and quality. What I did find is a shirt made of 100% American components that is sewn abroad and feels like Heaven against your skin! These Ts were printed in East Haven, CT and the custom Centopani label was affixed in New Haven, CT. I'm confident that you'll love 'em. Cue the harps and shimmer sound effects!
The work of any TRUE artist is unique and immediately identifiable. Industry-renowned Australian photographer Charles Lowthian serves as proof of that. I've been fortunate to build a relatiomship with Charles over the past several years and to be able to call him my friend. I was also fortunate to serve as a target for shooting (camera of course) practice immediately following the 2015 Arnold Classic. These shots were taken at Hybrid Strength and Fitness and as you can see, the images came out great. Images are available for purchase HERE and can be personalized upon request. Brian Moss is regarded as one of the best photographers in the bodybuilding and fitness industry. His iconic images have ended up all over the world. In fact, if you've ever trained in a hardcore gym there's a good chance you've seen some of his work hanging on the walls. Perhaps best known for the rough-around-the-edges and vintage type images that have been the foundation of Universal Nutrition's marketing for what seems like forever, Brian has a rare ability to capture the kind of images you want to hang on your wall. I was fortunate enough to get together with Brian one week prior to competing in the Arnold Classic and were able to get some pretty kick...
